“Forgiving What You Can’t Forget,” by Lysa TerKeurst
In the Forgiving What You Can’t Forget Bible study, Lysa TerKeurst shares her own deeply personal journey with forgiveness and what the Bible has to say about letting go of resentment and finding peace. After more than 1,000 hours of theological study, she shares the practical ways to let go of our bound-up resentment and finally heal.
Why should I have to be the one who forgives when I’m the one who has already suffered the most?
We know God commands us to forgive. But how, when the hurt plays over and over in our mind? And why, when we have already suffered so much? And, are there exceptions, such as, when the other person keeps inflicting pain?
Join us for this 6-session Bible study where you’ll learn a step-by-step plan to free yourself from hurt, disempower triggers that hijack your emotions, deal with difficult relationships, and discover life-giving freedom our souls desperately need.
We have 3 options for you to participate in this study (all options require registration):
- In person at the church
- Virtually through Zoom
- Independent study (videos sent weekly through Zoom; all correspondence done through email)

“Forgotten God: Reversing the Tragic Neglect of the Holy Spirit,” by Francis Chan
In this 7-session study, Francis Chan reminds us of the true source of the church’s power – the Holy Spirit. He contends that we’ve ignored the Spirit for far too long, and that without Him, we operate in our own strength, only accomplishing human-sized results. This study offers a compelling invitation to understand, embrace, and follow the Holy Spirit’s direction in our lives.
Sessions:
- I’ve Got Jesus. Why do I need the Spirit?
- What are you afraid of?
- Theology of the Holy Spirit 101
- Why do you want Him
- A real relationship
- Forget about His will for your life
- Supernatural Church
