Dare to Care was created out of our passion to love and serve the people in our community.
We schedule strategic, local service opportunities throughout the year.

Our local school districts are facing a time of great crisis. The shifting tides of the pandemic have deeply unsettled the work that educators do. Prolonged closures, remote learning, high turnover, and uncertainties challenge everyday objectives to champion our kids’ learning. Additionally, the growing rash of violence, even gun-related violence, on school grounds creates concern for our kids’ mental health and safety. The need is urgent and we are choosing to seek God’s face for our schools and surround them with prayer – will you join us?

What We Will Be Doing:

We are looking for 180 people to join us for February’s Dare to Care where we will cover almost every APS district school in prayer.

Where and When:

We’ll meet in our chapel at 8:30am on February 12th, where teams will be prepped in advance, given general and specific items to pray over, and sent out to 18 predetermined zones to pray for two to three schools each.

What You’ll Need:

The event is family-friendly, but will require transportation, along with extended periods of walking or standing. We anticipate decent weather, but you should dress warmly.
