  1. Who is at home with you during “stay at home orders” and how has your relationship changed or grown in the past few weeks?
  2. What is your plan to make the most of Easter at home this year? What will be the same and what will be different?


John 13:1-5, 12-17

  1. How or who could you “wash the feet” of someone this week either literally or figuratively? 
  2. Have you ever washed someone’s feet (or had your feet washed) before? What was that experience like for you and the receiver?

John 13:21-30

  1. What do you think was going through Jesus’ mind knowing that he was about to be betrayed? How do you think that compares to how you have felt when you were betrayed?

  1. How are you preparing yourself for communion in the midst of your own pain during this time? How can we be more mindful of Christ on the cross followed by the empty tomb?

  1. Can you imagine what it would be like to stand by and watch Christ crucified? Would you have been able to speak up and what would you have said? How are you living that out now when people speak against Christ?
