weekend retreat

What: A weekend getaway at Spring Canyon Camp in Buena Vista this October. This year’s theme is “The Chosen.” It will be a great weekend of food, fellowship, great speakers and the great outdoors!

What: A weekend of worship and enjoying friendship with other women. This year’s speaker will be Terri Powell and the retreat theme is “BE-Coming – God meets us where we are right now, to bring us forward.” There will also be plenty of time for fun activities and relaxation.

We officially launch the 2021-22 ministry year with a launch called 3CYouth Ignition! The night will feature games, free food, worship, vision-casting, and so much more. the event if for students and their families and there will be a meeting for just parents to attend. Hope to see you there!

All Stars Club: Special Needs Respite Event

Saturday, October 9 • 9:30a-12:00p • CCC Gym

A fun morning of adaptive sports, karaoke, crafts, and dancing for those with special needs ages 8+. Screened and trained volunteers ensure a safe, fun time for attendees so parents can enjoy some much needed time to themselves.

Confronting & Overcoming Anxiety Workshop

Saturday, September 25 • 8:30a-3:30p • Kid’s Auditorium

Explore common areas of anxiety, paths to peace, and how the Biblical accounts of dealing with anxiety correspond to psychological principles. Learn practical tools to reduce anxiety in your daily life. Live virtual version of workshop also offered on October 30th.

Sisters Mug n' Muffin Gatherings

Monthly Prayer & Healing Nights

Second Monday of the Month • 7:00p-8:30p • Worship Center

Are you needing healing from God in your body, soul, or relationship? Our prayer team is offering an opportunity for extended prayer to anyone desiring physical, emotional or relational healing. Register online for a specific time slot or come for first come, first served prayer.

GriefShare: Surviving the Holidays

Saturday, November 6 • 9:00a-12:00p • 4th/5th Grade Room

If you have struggled with the loss of a loved one and you fear the emotions the holiday season will bring, join us for this special one-time event. In this seminar, you will learn how to deal with painful emotions, how to keep from being overwhelmed, and how to respect and care for your emotions without becoming paralyzed by them.


Adult Baptism Class

What: If you are an adult (age 18+) who would like to be baptized, please plan to attend the two required classes. Registration is required. No childcare. Baptism weekend will be Nov 13 & 14 (all services).

Kids Baptism - Parent Info Meeting

What: This parents-only information meeting is for families exploring the idea of their elementary school age child being baptized. You will receive all the information necessary to go through a baptism curriculum at home with your kids. If the child is ready for baptism after going through the curriculum, parents and kids must attend the Testimony Class. Registration required in order to have materials prepared for families.

Kids Baptism Testimony Class

What: If your child is ready for baptism after going through the at-home curriculum, parents and kids must attend this class to finish the process and be ready for Baptism Weekend (November 14/15, 2021).

Discover your Church

What: Discover Your Church is designed to familiarize people with Colorado Community Church. We answer key questions such as:

What are some ministry areas in which I can serve?
What is our church’s vision? Who is on staff?
What is our Statement of Faith?

For those desiring to become a member, an opportunity will be given to enter into our Membership Covenant.

Family bible study

What: The Gospel Project® is a chronological, Christ-centered Bible study for kids, students, and adults that examines how all of Scripture gives testimony to Jesus Christ. Over the course of four years, participants will journey from Genesis to Revelation and discover how God’s plan of redemption unfolds throughout Scripture and still today, compelling them to join the mission of God.  Classes offered for 4 years thru 5th grade and parents.  Childcare available for birth thru 3 years. Childcare is available for birth thru 3 years.

When: Wednesdays, beginning September 15 • 6:00p-7:30p

Gospel Project Parent Bible Study

Learn what your kids are studying so that the entire family is growing together! $5 per household to cover materials for one binder.


JourneyMen Evening Bible Study

Men, join us as we meet together for Bible study and pray for one another. Joe Lothringer will be teaching a 4 week study entitled, “Heaven and Hell : Angels and Demons.”

Jesus and the Perplexing Parables

Wednesdays, September 15 – October 20 • 6:45p • Worship Center

Join Dr. Matt Jones for a 6 week Bible study, “Jesus and the Perplexing Parables.” People love the parables of Jesus, yet many times we miss the extent of their significance because we fail to read them in context. This study is designed to help us rethink and reapply the teaching of Jesus’s parables to activate our hearts to love God and love others.

"Fearless" Mental Health Experience for Teens

Mondays, September 13-November 1 • 7:00p-8:30p • 3rd Grade Classroom

A strengths-based, collective group experience designed to help high school students pursue mental, emotional, social, and spiritual wellness. Explore self-care tools, build understanding community, and find identity in Jesus.

Christ-Centered Yoga

Mondays • 9:00a-10:00a • Kids Auditorium

Ladies, join us for Christ-Centered Yoga. We start and end each class in prayer, then infuse each posture with Bible verses. We’ll breathe, stretch and strengthen our bodies while honoring our Creator. Beginners and walk-ins welcome!

Get Your Acts Together: 2-Day Seminar

Friday & Saturday, October 1 & 2 • 6:30p-8:30p / 9:00a-12:00p • Worship Center

Taught by Joey Dodson, Associate Professor of NT at Denver Seminary. This 2-day seminar will help you see this awe-inspiring Book of Acts from a whole new perspective. Even though Acts was written for us, it was not written to us. We will walk from Jerusalem and beyond in the sandals of the original audience which will unleash radical and fresh applications for us in Colorado today.

GriefShare is a 13-week, DVD-led seminar series for people grieving the death of a loved one. Led by people who understand what you’re going through, GriefShare support groups will provide valuable resources to help you recover from your loss and look forward to rebuilding your life. Women's Tuesday Morning Bible Study

Women's Tuesday Evening Bible Study

Ladies, join us in person or on Zoom for this 10-week, DVD-led study, “The Shelter of God’s Promises,” by Sheila Walsh. Sheila searches Scripture for what God has promised us, what God’s promises mean, and how these promises provide the foundation for daily confidence, joy, and hope. 

A Survey of the Book of Romans

Sundays, September 12 – October 17 • 10:45a-12:00p • East Adult Classroom

Larry Jones, MA in Christian Studies at Denver Seminary will teach this 6 week Bible study that will look at some of the key themes in Paul’s letter to the Romans. Gain insight into not only what it means to be a true follower of Christ, but also how you can be better equipped to advance the gospel and strengthen fellow believers.

Biology and the Bible

Sundays, September 12 – October 31 • 9:00a-10:00a • East Adult Classroom

Have you ever wondered how Biblical records and biological facts fit together? Dr. Nicole Bartley will address this question in an 8-week study. We will dive into various common biological perspectives and shine a light on what God’s Word tells us about biology. We will explore and debunk the perceived conflicts between the Bible and biological science. 


Men of Courage Bible Study

Men, join us for our Saturday morning Men of Courage Bible study led by Mike Moreno. We are studying the Book of Isaiah and meet weekly at Panera Bread, 12293 E Iliff Ave in Aurora. No registration required.



What: Do you want to grow in your relationship with God? Are you tired of being alone? These smaller groups meet in homes or virtually where participants can pray for one another and learn how to apply the weekly sermon to their lives together.

Bible Book Club

This interactive group looks at one book of the Bible each month, reading it in its entirety before gathering via Zoom to discuss the book in a book club format. Participants share perspectives based on their situations, experiences, and thoughts, allowing us to discover things about the Bible that we may not see by reading it on our own. 

Men's Poker Night

First Fridays of the Month • 6:15p • 4th/5th Grade Room

Join us for some friendly competition as we get together for our monthly poker night on the first Friday of each month! Entry fee is a snack or soda.

Tribe Group - First Responders

Tuesdays, September 21 – November 16 • 6:30p-8:00p • West Adult Classroom

Working on the front lines can take an emotional and spiritual toll. Tribe is for first responders and medical frontline workers seeking to connect with others who know what you go through. Find God’s truth, genuine community, and hope.


Celebrate Recovery

Fridays, January 1-December 31 • 6:45p-9:00p • Chapel

Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered, 12 step recovery program for anyone struggling with hurt, pain or addiction of any kind.

CR is a safe place to find community and freedom from the issues that are controlling our life.

Support is offered for the whole family with Celebration Place (K-5th grade) and The Landing (MS and HS) meeting at the same time.


MOPS - Mothers of Preschoolers

1st & 3rd Thursdays, beginning September 2 • 6:30p-8:30p • Chapel

MOPS provides a variety of speakers, crafts, and fellowship! Until further notice, childcare will not be provided. Registration through MOPS.org is required and starts at $33 for a year. 

CHOSEN Adapted Bible Class for Youth/Adults

1st & 3rd Thursdays • 6:30p-8:00p • Sun Room

This adapted Bible class is for youth and adults (ages 14+) with special needs. Enjoy hands-on activities, Bible teaching, and fellowship – all modified to meet the various learning styles and needs of participants.

Ladies Bunko

One Friday per Month • 5:30p • 4th/5th Grade Room

Ladies, BUNKO is back! Come join us for an evening of fun and laughter. Bring your own dinner, snacks, and drinks (with a lid). RSVP to Carole at by the Wednesday before the event. The next two gatherings will be August 27 & September 17.

Stand in the Gap: Women's Prayer Ministry

This prayer group is designed to create a space for women to come together and commit to standing in the gap for each other and pray for our families, our community and our world. 

Made to Change the World - Women’s Zoom Study Group

Facilitated by Kathy Swigle, this virtual (via ZOOM) 8-wk women’s study will encourage you to know God’s calling and provide the tools to live it in every area of your life with an impact that will change the world.

What: We are committed to serving our neighbors in our own backyard with personal contact, just as Jesus walked among us to lovingly redeem humanity. Through the Need Help Initiative, we engage in door-to-door connection with our neighbors, letting them know we are a church that cares about and helps others.

With about 4,000 households in our immediate area, we’re asking that 100 volunteers from our church sign up to join us for four Saturdays each year to check in on our neighbors.
