Groups for Kids & Youth

Troop 4th/5th

Wednesdays | 5:00pm | Kids Ministry Area

Begins September 21.

Troop 4th & 5th is all about adventuring with Jesus through expeditions, scripture study, and friendship. 

Poco a poco Kids choir

Saturdays @ 3:15pm | Sundays @ 9:00am | Multi-Sensory Room

If you love singing and worshiping God, join our Poco a Poco Kids Choir for kids 2nd-8th grade. There are performance opportunities throughout the year.

Witness is the primary gathering for 3CYouth, featuring games, worship, great teaching, squad discussion, and more! Middle schoolers meet on Wednesdays and high schoolers on Sudays, both at 6pm! 

Our 3CYouth ministry vision is to witness God’s love and grace, immerse ourselves in truth and community, and proclaim God’s greatness through service.

Kids 5-12

Fridays during Celebrate Recovery | 6:30pm-9:00pm

Celebration Place is a 52-week complementary children’s resource to Celebrate Recovery. While adults explore topics that bring healing and wholeness, kids discover the same truths in an age-appropriate way. Geared toward ages 5-12.

Youth Weekends

Saturdays | 5:00pm

Sundays | 10:45am

Immerse is a space for teens to deepen their understanding of God’s Word through teaching and table discussion after some free time. This time is open to middle school and high school students.

Note: Immerse doesn’t meet on Communion weekends!

Youth 13-18

Fridays during Celebrate Recovery | 6:30pm-9:00pm

If you or a teen you know is dealing with pain and it is leading to depression, anger, eating disorders, bullying, cutting, addictions, abuse, pornography, or drinking, then come to The Landing.

Discussion Groups

“Community” is part of our name as a church and we strive to create several spaces for you to belong. Sermon Discussion Groups are small groups of friends who discuss and learn how to apply the latest sermon to their lives together. Our hope is that you will be encouraged and challenged while also sharing and growing your faith in community.

Group Seminar Series

Tuesdays | Aug 16-Nov 15 | 6:30pm-8:00pm | 3rd Grade Room

13-week seminar series for people grieving the death of a loved one that is led by people who understand what you are experiencing. This class provides helpful resources to help you recover from your loss and look forward to rebuilding your life.

Support group

2nd & 4th Thursdays | 6:30pm-8:00pm | Multi-Sensory Room

Begins September 20. 

Anchor is a bi-monthly peer group experience where you can find safe community as well as ongoing encouragement in your faith and mental wellness. Find a space to safely share your story and gain valuable skills for managing your mental health. Also open to caregivers and families seeking to support their loved one in a healthy way. This group is open to adults ages 19+.

This prayer group is designed to create a space for women to come together and commit to standing in the gap for each other and pray for our families, our community and our world. This group will meet every third Monday of the month.

Join us every week for a message, small groups, and prayer as we discover what it means to follow Jesus as a twenty-something in Denver. This group is a place where you can grow in your relationship with God and make a ton of friends along the way! Come as you are – We can’t wait to meet YOU!

 

Support group

First Fridays of the month | 10:00am-11:00am | West Classroom

Join us for a monthly support group for people caring for older adults, a loved one with cancer, or someone with a mental health issue, etc. We will learn how to improve healthy coping skills, reduce anxiety and distress, and help you feel less isolated.

If you’re a kin provider, foster or adoptive parent, join us for one or both of the Kinship, Foster and Adopt Care Groups (options on Saturday during Saturday evening service or Wednesday during regular Wednesday programming). We’ll be encouraging each other, sharing ideas and exploring topics common to parents like us. Free Wednesday childcare for kids 0-3; kids 4+ are $20/yr (registration required for all kids) through the Gospel Project.

5:45-6:15pm – Dinner served in the Chapel (by pre-order only)

Kids’ Ministry offers meals at the church on Wednesday Nights! Weekly registration/payment is due by Wednesday morning. Meals are $4.00/person (excluding special nights).

Have you or a loved one experienced a stroke? On average, a stroke will occur every 40 seconds, and take a life approximately every 4 minutes. You do not have to go through this alone. This group is a support group for stroke survivors and caregivers.
