WOMEN’S MINISTRY

The honor and respect God has for women is profound. First person to whom Jesus revealed Himself as Messiah was a woman at a well. First person to whom He showed Himself after rising from the dead was Mary Magdalene. God trusted Rahab to help topple the walls of Mighty Jericho. He trusted Esther to help save His people from annihilation.

“Galatians: Accepted and Free,” by Jada Edwards

Have you ever experienced a moment when you felt unaccepted?

Perhaps it was the way you dressed, your accent, or the color of your skin. When we sense that we’re unaccepted, it has this way of unraveling us from the inside out.

In Galatians: Accepted and Free, Jada Edwards shows why it’s so important to know in the deepest recesses of your soul that you are wholly and fully accepted in Christ, by Christ and, through Christ. From your birth, God has called and chosen you—yes, you!

  • Because of God’s authority, we don’t need to seek the acceptance of man.
  • Because of God’s assignment, we no longer define our lives by culture or heritage.
  • Because of God’s approval, we aren’t insecure or intimidated.
  • Because of God’s adoption, we aren’t slaves anymore.
  • Because of God’s freedom, we don’t need to self-sabotage to cope.
  • Because of God’s restoration, we can bring healing and restoration to others.

Whenever you catch a whiff of rejection, you can find security in the liberating acceptance of Christ.

Sessions include:

  • The Hidden Power of Acceptance
  • Your Life is Rich in Purpose
  • Approval in Christ > Human Approval
  • The Truth About Your Inheritance
  • You’ve Been Set Free For This
  • Your Restoration Restores Others

“The Greatest Gift: Unwrapping the Full Love Story of Christmas,” by Ann Voskamp

Ladies, join us on Zoom for this 4-week Advent study by Ann Voskamp, a gentle reminder to slow down this Christmas season, renew your heart, and focus on Christ – the Greatest Gift.

Out of the stump of David’s family will grow a shoot–yes, a new branch bearing fruit from the old root…In that day the heir to David’s throne will be a banner of salvation to all the world. The nations will rally to Him, and the land where He lives will be a glorious place. – Isaiah 11:1, 10

The nativity story didn’t start with a journey to Bethlehem, an emperor’s decree, or a virgin conception—it began with Adam! Exploring the lineage of Jesus through the Advent tradition of the Jesse tree, Voskamp retraces the epic pageantry of mankind from Genesis to God’s greatest gift—his Son. A timeless reminder of the true meaning of Christmas!

“Now unto Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us …” – Ephesians 3:20

Women of CCC, you’re invited to join this prayer group where we will create a space for prayer-dependent women to come together in commitment to standing in the gap for each other, our families, our community and our world.

We believe that we serve a God who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, and expect Him to release His supernatural power through our intercession. The battle begins on our knees ladies…

As women of prayer, we seek to:

  • strengthen our commitment at Colorado Community Church to be a prayer-dependent church and be Kingdom focused by welcoming women from other churches to attend
  • release the power of God over our families in an even greater measure through communal prayer
  • further the Kingdom of God and His purposes
  • create strong bonds between sisters in Christ

Registration is requested, but not required. All are welcome!
